An Innovative Website for the Museum of Innovation

The Smithsonian Institute needed a website unique and advanced enough to represent their Lemelson Center for Invention and Innovation, and OMBU was thrilled to be tasked with this challenge. In addition to a quirky design that showcases the center’s bold, forward-thinking identity, the powerful Drupal website boasts features such as real-time faceted search, branded audio and video players, and fun on-page interactive elements to increase visitor engagement.

The Lemelson site integrates with other Smithsonian systems, such as an institution-wide calendaring solution, email marketing tools, and even an in-museum exhibit. These integrations make the site a first-class citizen in the Smithsonian ecosystem, and keeps rich data flowing without staff intervention.
