Regional Technical Forum

Powering energy efficient planning and collaboration in the Pacific Northwest.

OMBU designed and built the Regional Technical Forum website for Northwest Power and Conservation Council (NWPCC), the organization tasked by the federal government with developing a regional power plan and fish and wildlife program to balance the Northwest’s environment and energy needs.

The new website provides tools for a technical audience to develop standards for verifying and evaluating energy efficiency savings.

NWPCC’s mission requires transparency and public input. The website records all regional energy efficiency measures, planning meetings and each decision made, and it integrates with Box for permanent and auditable document storage. To drive public input, OMBU created a discussion component that can be placed anywhere on the new website to engage the public.
